A log book is a teacher's record of the work covered in a subject. Typically it lists the main and specific competencies, the dates each was started and finished, and space for comments from the teacher and the school administration. It works alongside the Form Two schemes of work, which set out what should be taught, and the Form Two lesson plans, which set out how each lesson is delivered.
The Form Two log book follows the second year of Ordinary Level. It gives teachers a running record of the topics and competencies covered as learning builds on Form One, with room for the dates each one was started and completed.
