This Form One Kiswahili scheme of work follows the competency-based planning format set out by the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE). It covers Kumudu misingi ya Kiswahili — recognizing Kiswahili as an expression of Tanzanian identity, developing understanding of Kiswahili grammar (sarufi), storytelling with correct stress and pronunciation, and writing stories with correct word and sentence order. Add your school name and term dates before submitting it to your head of department.
