About Form Three Log Books
A log book is a teacher's record of the work covered in a subject. Typically it lists the main and specific competencies, the dates each was started and finished, and space for comments from the teacher and the school administration. It works alongside the Form Three schemes of work, which set out what should be taught, and the Form Three lesson plans, which set out how each lesson is delivered.
The Form Three log book tracks syllabus coverage in the third year, when content becomes more demanding. A clear record helps teachers pace their teaching and helps supervisors confirm that each subject is on schedule.
