TIE aligned secondary schemes of work for every general stream and vocational stream subject taught in Form One. Free samples available; full schemes via the teacher panel.
A scheme of work is the teacher’s plan of what will be taught across the Form One (Kidato cha Tatu) year, mapping main and specific competences, monthly and weekly pacing, teaching methods, resources and assessment tools for every topic in the subject syllabus. It is followed by a lesson plan for each lesson and a log book that records what was actually covered.
All Form Three schemes of work on this page follow the competence-based column format issued by the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) for the 2027 academic year. Subjects are grouped into general subjects and vocational stream subjects, as on our Form One lesson plans page. Periods per week vary by subject.
