A scheme of work is the teacher’s plan of what will be taught across the Form Four (Kidato cha Nne) year, mapping main and specific competences, monthly and weekly pacing, teaching methods, resources and assessment tools for every topic in the subject syllabus. It is followed by a lesson plan for each lesson and a log book that records what was actually covered.
All Form Four schemes of work on this page follow the competence-based column format issued by the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) for the 2027 academic year. Periods per week vary by subject.
