A log book is a teacher's record of the work covered in a subject. Typically it lists the main and specific competencies, the dates each was started and finished, and space for comments from the teacher and the school administration. It works alongside the Form Four schemes of work, which set out what should be taught, and the Form Four lesson plans, which set out how each lesson is delivered.
The Form Four log book documents the final year of Ordinary Level. It records what has been taught in each subject, which makes it easier to show that the syllabus has been completed and to plan revision for the topics that need more time before the national examination.
